I got this bike to use to run my errands into town. There’s a pretty good up hill ride on the way back which always discouraged me from riding a standard (non-electric) gike. I’ve been riding my new izip urban cruiser for about 2 weeks now and I love it exept for the range. The advertised range is misleading, I don’t get close to 25 miles advertised, more like 12 miles with assisted pedaling. Status light starts going red (low) after about 10 miles.
Since owning the bike, i’ve never seen the status light go green (high). I got the extra battery for it which so for I just use for the last few hills to my house. Some time I hope to take to the beach or other flat ride to see who much range I could get with the two batteries with no hills.
